PvP battles

One thing to keep in mind is that all of these are just plans on paper right now. Some elements can be changed after the tests.

Battles are one of those things that all Gattomon trainers and their wards will certainly have to face. Just like in our world, battles in GattoVerse attract a lot of attention from gawkers and overbearing gentlemen who don't mind throwing a few diamonds or jingling coins to bet on the outcome of a fight.

The winner takes it all while the loser has to make do with what's left.

Squad Formation

You can only form a squad from those pets that are located in your District. Squad size is always strictly 3 Gattomons.

We recommend the following squad arrangement as standard:

Tank - the first one to take a hit unless the targeting is changed by special skills, artifacts or Characters.

Free Agent - a versatile fighter capable of dealing large amounts of damage or harm to an opponent while the Tank is alive. Or support his team with useful Skills.

Damage Dealer - thin Gattomon capable of dealing a ton of quick and not so quick damage while the front line of Tank and Free Agent are still alive.

Combat Cards

As we've written before, Gattomon gets a set of different combat cards that are determined at birth. The higher the rarity - the higher the maximum available class of cards.

Each Gattomon has a total of six cards in his arsenal:

  • Two cards are determined by Biome (a total of 5 types of cards per biome)

  • Two cards are determined by Species (these cards are always assigned to a species)

  • The remaining two cards are issued from the Basic Set (30 card types in total, 5 per class)

Additional Information

Daze is a negative effect that prevents you from playing cards without an Attack effect.

Stun - completely incapacitates the Gattomon, skipping a turn.
